Dr. V.P. Singh is an eminent neurosurgeon and Chairman of Neurosurgery & Neurosciences at Medanta - The Medicity, Gurugram. With more than 36 years of clinical excellence, he has completed over 400 complex intracranial aneurysm surgeries and thousands of cranial and spinal interventions.

His core clinical focus includes brain tumor resections, cerebrovascular surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife), epilepsy surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Education & Overseas Credentials

Dr. Singh earned his MBBS, direct five-year MCh in Neurosurgery, and DNB in Neurosurgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

He pursued specialized international neurosurgical training as a Registrar at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, UK.

Career Highlights & Academic Leadership

Dr. Singh served as Additional Professor at AIIMS New Delhi, where he pioneered the establishment of the institution's Gamma Knife Unit and comprehensive epilepsy surgery program.

He later held senior leadership positions at VIMHANS and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital before taking charge at Medanta. He has authored over 70 scientific publications and book chapters and served in leadership roles for the Indian Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and the Indian Society of Cerebrovascular Surgery.
