Dr. Balbir Singh is a globally distinguished interventional cardiologist and electrophysiologist. Serving as Group Chairman of Cardiac Sciences and Interventional Cardiology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, he brings nearly four decades of pioneering cardiac care.

Dr. Singh specializes in complex coronary angioplasty, radiofrequency ablation for complex heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), structural heart interventions, and device implantations for heart failure.

Education & Academic Honors

Dr. Singh earned his MBBS, MD in Medicine, and DM in Cardiology from Maulana Azad Medical College and G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi. He completed a specialized Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee, USA.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).

Leadership & National Recognition

Dr. Singh was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri by the President of India for his outstanding contributions to cardiovascular medicine. He previously served as Senior Professor at AIIMS and Chairman of Cardiology at Medanta - The Medicity.

He has held executive roles as President of the Cardiological Society of India (Delhi Chapter) and President of the Indian Heart Rhythm Society (IHRS). With numerous research publications in international journals like JACC, Dr. Singh continues to be a regular keynote faculty member at major European and American cardiology conventions.
