Having overseen more than 2,000 kidney transplants, Dr. Bansal specializes in living-donor and cadaveric renal transplantation, ABO-incompatible transplants, steroid-free immunosuppression protocols, and chronic kidney disease management.

Dr. Bansal earned his MBBS from G.R. Medical College, Gwalior, and MD in General Medicine from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur. He completed his super-specialty DM in Nephrology at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow.

He established the Nephrology department at Medical College Gwalior in 2006 before serving as Consultant at Fortis Hospital and joining Medanta at its inception in 2009.
