Overview & ExpertiseDr. Sanjay Govil is a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgeon and liver transplant specialist with over 39 years of experience. Serving as Senior Consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru, he has pioneered multiple laparoscopic and transplant techniques in South India. His practice covers living donor liver transplantation (LDLT), cadaveric organ transplantation, complex resections for hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma, laparoscopic Whipple procedures, and ALPPS surgeries for liver tumors.Education & International TrainingDr. Govil completed his MBBS (1985) and MS in General Surgery (1989) at the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.
