Overview & ExpertiseDr. Krishna Subramony Iyer (K. S. Iyer) is a pediatric cardiac surgeon in South Asia. Serving as Executive Director of Pediatric Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, he has spent over four decades specializing in neonatal and pediatric congenital heart surgery. His clinical expertise encompasses surgical corrections for complex transposition of the great arteries (TGA), tetralogy of Fallot, single-ventricle Fontan procedures, truncus arteriosus repairs, and infant heart surgeries.Education & Australian TrainingDr. Iyer earned his MBBS (1978) from AIIMS, New Delhi, winning the Institute Gold Medal as Best Graduate of the Year.
