He holds a world record for completing 28 total knee replacements within a 12-hour period. His specialties cover minimally invasive joint replacements, cementless Trabecular Metal implants, patient-specific virtual instrumentation, and complex revision arthroplasties.

Dr. Rajgopal completed his MBBS at AFMC Pune, MS in Orthopedics at AIIMS New Delhi, and MCh in Orthopedics from the University of Liverpool, UK.
