Dr. Vikas Dua is an eminent pediatric hemato-oncologist and stem cell transplant specialist. Serving as Principal Director and Head of Pediatric Hematology, Hemato-Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram, he brings over two decades of clinical mastery.
Dr. Dua has successfully executed over 1,000 pediatric stem cell transplants for conditions like leukemia, lymphoma, thalassemia major, aplastic anemia, and primary immunodeficiencies.
Dr. Dua earned his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from PGIMS, Rohtak.
He completed his Fellowship of National Board (FNB) in Pediatric Hematology Oncology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, where he was awarded Best Outgoing Fellow.
He pursued advanced international observational fellowships in pediatric BMT at National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, USA.
Dr. Dua is known for pioneering complex haploidentical (half-matched) and unrelated donor transplants in children with high success rates.
He is an active contributor to clinical trials, a frequent speaker at global oncology congresses, and a mentor for pediatric hematology fellows across Asia and Africa.
