Dr. Prof. Darius F. Mirza is a distinguished Liver Transplant Surgeon with an impressive 36 years of experience in the field. He served as the Secretary of the European Liver and Intestinal Transplant Association (ELITA) from 2001 to 2005 and was a Committee Member of the British Transplantation Society (BTS) from 2015 to 2017. His professional affiliations include the European Society of Organ Transplantation (ESOT), International HPB Association (IHPBA), and several other prestigious organizations.

Having performed over 5,000 liver transplants worldwide, Dr. Mirza specializes in both Adult and Pediatric Liver and Intestine Transplantation, along with Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. His areas of expertise encompass laparoscopic HPB surgery, bile duct strictures, and portal hypertension surgery.

Dr. Mirza earned his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, in 1984, followed by an MS in General Surgery from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, in 1989, and an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 1993. He is a prolific author, contributing numerous well-researched articles and papers to national and international journals.
